Good day,
My name is Regine and I work for the Arkansas Department of Agriculture Forestry Division (formerly the Arkansas Forestry Commission) as the forester for Garland and Clark counties. I am also the owner of RegineSkrydon, a sole-proprietorship based in Hot Springs, AR offering a range of services to the area and surrounding states.
In 2012 I had the opportunity to work for the US Forest Service in Petersburg, Alaska as a member of their Timber Sale Preparation Crew. Between the eight folks on the crew we laid out a 34.8 MILLION board foot timber sale that sold for $1.1 million (cutting will be filmed by AXE men in 2013, it is currently {winter 2013} airing on the History Channel). It was a very rewarding experience despite the intimidating terrain, constant frigid rain weather, and threat of wild animals (from bears and wolves to clouds of mosquitoes).
From 2010 to 2012 worked with Nicholas Muir as a independent contractor for Cellfor (which went bankrupt in December). We planned, installed, maintained, and measured demonstration sites to show the increased yield and quality of genetically enhanced pine tree varietals. Travel associated with these contracts ranged from East Texas through Louisiana, Arkansas, Mississippi, Alabama, Georgia, and Florida.
I am an avid Photographer. I specialize in Nature photos (of the panoramic, macro, or landscape variety). My work is available for sale through this web site, my Deviantart gallery, or at conventions across Texas and several other southern states. You can also see my work on Flikr and Facebook.
Ah yes, conventions. I am also a traveling artist. For over a decade I sold my wares at Anime, Fantasy, Sci-Fi, and Comic Conventions across my home state of Texas, branching out to other states over theyears. Unfortunately since the pandemic I have reflected on the effort compared to the income and decided this is no longer worth continued pursuit. I am selling the remainder of my fox tails and dragon eggs through etsy, and currently do not have plans to made any additional products or resume attending conventions as a vendor. Please help me by buy any remaining products while available!
I am also entertainer available for hire at your next event! I can offer my services as an experienced and professional balloon artist, pricing options are by the hour or by the event, discounts are an option if I am allowed to request tips during the event. There is potential I may attend events with allowance to charge by the balloon as well.
Thank you for your interest!
It's your support that keeps me trying harder each year!!!
